Beautiful park with well maintained trails. Plenty of places to stop for picnics. The bathroom facilities are clean. We enjoyed the waterfalls and walking in the water at Jackson's Branch. A must see place for it's beauty, great fun for the family. Can't wait to go back!!
I added 300 miles to my trip just to drive the length of the trace over 3 days. It was one of the most beautiful drives I've ever been on. I slept in 2 of the three campsites. All were beautiful and free. They just about full up every night once it gets dark. It was so beautiful of a drive I am now looking at other scenic drives to incorporate into my travels.
Very beautiful and scenic drive but be mindful of the speed limit
Disappointed....said color change was best last week of October. Expected to see historical sites but all they had were signs. Won't be recommending this to my friends.
Does anyone know the mile marker of the field of Buttercups along the Natchez Trace parkway?
