Greg Cartmell's art is among the best I have the privilege to experience. I spent a lot of time combing the Atlanta art scene quite deeply as well as experiencing galleries and shows throughout the southeastern US art scene.nNine times out of ten, when I find really nice art that I appreciate; it still falls short of the standards which Greg sets.nnIt is rare to find quality - but in my estimation his ability to produce such a wide variety of art is what is truly special.nnCheck it out!
I've known Greg for close to 30 years and every time I see one of his paintings I am overwhelmed with joy. You can feel emotion in every painting he creates from landscapes, to portraits, to sunsets and abstracts. No matter what Greg puts his hand to he makes you want to own a piece that he has created.He is not only my friend, but an extremely talented artist, my teacher, my mentor and a genuinely nice man to know. If you have a chance to own anything by Greg Cartmell do it!!
Greg is a true artist. I have several of his paintings and I cherish each one. Greg has shown me several of his knives and the artistry is stunning. I consider it an honor to call Greg Cartmell a friend.
