I love going to this park, especially when the weather is warm. I really enjoy nature. This place has lots of ducks and different kinds. It also has geese and huge fish. I enjoy watching them. The fish are big and they follow you as you walk looking for you to drop food. The ducks are very aggressive when it comes to food, they get most of the food, whether it is for them or the fish. The ducks are very huge because they eat a lot. Some of the water you can actually see through all see the fish swimming. The birds are wonderful to hear as well. I would say this is bone of my favorite places and always will be. I love sitting in front of the water on benches or in the gazebo. If you love nature, you should check it outud83dude0a
I absolutely love the no-smoking policy! The geese, ducks, and fish make the park naturalistic and memorable. There's even a mama bear & cub statue pair standing in the water. The park is easily visible from all sides, which keeps crime &shady business away.
This park features soooo much, from beautiful scenery, tons of water fowl, tables with grills and trash cans, food stand for events, performance stage, a train park you can rent for parties. A free art museum with we'll know artist and rotating collections, a free art gallery for the local art society with wonderful and affordable original art to bring home, and several kids playgrounds for the kids. There is even a trail that branches off the park into the city with sculptures and history.
I love how beautiful this park is! So peaceful and the ducks/geese/swans are so cute. At night is a different story... Be very careful. Its not a safe place at night.
Hagerstown city park is still a great place for the family everyone is doing a good job of social distancing and yet enjoying being out and as always the ducks and fish are more than happy to let you feed them
