I gave Ms. Shirley’s 3 stars because their customer service is outstanding. It pains me to give this rating because I have had amazing service and the food has been great in the past; unfortunately today the only thing that was great was the customer service. I ordered the vegan strawberry pancakes and the food was anything short of good ! The pancakes were dry, thick, and without flavor. I’m not sure what happened this time, but it was a miss. For the price I paid, I expected much better than to have food go to waste.

A friend and I came to Miss Shirley's cafe for brunch on Saturday afternoon (12/12/20). Katherine, the hostess standing outside of the cafe, was very friendly and patient with explaining the reduce seating and the process for getting on the waitlist. Once inside, the manager (I believe) took us to the bar where Ashli was hard at work making drinks. Once we were closer, she greeted us very warmly, introduced herself, and quickly took our drink orders. Unfortunately, neither of us liked our first picks, and Ashli allowed us to choose again (second choice drinks were wonderful!). She was extremely patient and forthcoming with her opinion on food items when we asked questions. We had the Chicken & Corn Chowder Skillet and Coconut cream stuffed French Toast. Both were delicious! Ashli did an awesome job of being attentive to us, while still making the drinks for other tables. She was great!. I cannot type it enough, Ashli was wonderful, kind, professional, and a lot of fun. The next time I'm in town, I will visit again based on the service given by Ashli.

Amazing staff and delicious food! Also prompt service. It only about 10 minutes for our food to come out! The perfect place for brunch, hands down.

Food was great. Drinks were delicious. One of the managers even came out to talk with us about an allergy we had at our table. I only wish you could make a reservation. Outdoor seating was available
