Great blt
When I'm in the South I enjoy visiting the Waffle Houses. In the North we have Dennys which has a much bigger menu. Waffle House doesn't have all the food options Dennys has. What I like about Waffle house is the smaller scale makes it feel more friendly and cozy. The food is pretty good too. And the staff are all real characters, which you can appreciate because the layout means your right up close to them.
Called to place a quick hash brown order. I was met with an automated message saying they’re open and would “love” to take my order but they’re “busy” with other customers. I figured well okay, they must be busy, I’ll just have to stop when I pass by and wait for my order. Well when I got there there wasn’t a single soul there being served. They literally just put the answer machine on to avoid work. Lost my business for the day I went across the street to McDonald’s. Atleast they’re attentive.
Food was consistent with what you would expect from waffle house. Staff was also consistent with what you would expect... Waitress was extremely nice but they were short staffed so extremely slow
10:15 a.m. My experience wasn't good at all. The restaurant had an horrible odor. I was desperate for a hashround bowl which was horrible. My hashrounds were soft not all the way cooked. My bowl was scarce..not satisfied at all.
