Resurrection of Our Lord School

Good school the teachers try their best to teach the children at the school what they need to know, but most of the kids are not self motivated and blame their bad grades on the teachers. At this school their is a pat club which holds meeting every Thursday at the beginning of the month and not even a fourth of the parents attend the meetings which makes it hard for the administration to find out what the parents want. The only bad thing I would have to say is that some teachers get agitated quickly, but I can understand why since most of the reason their constantly angry because of the children basically not caring at all about their grades.

The real deal is Resurrection expects minors to be fully responsible for important notice. Many parents receive automated phone calls and text regarding meetings. However the message is delivered the day of or before. It's titled a friendly reminder. If your child is failing you won't know until they failing grade takes place and documented on your child's report card. Another issue is, What ever happened to report card conference. Parental involvement plan. In a recent review someone stated, parents don't show up for meetings or PAT meetings. First time I every heard of it. This is my child's first year as a 5th grade student and I must say I'm not impressed. Way too many fund raisers, and costly events. Every event given has a cost. Even bus rides to sporting events. $20 required field trips, plus purchase of supplies. ( disposable camera, card stock paper, and the list goes on...) I purchased these items the at the beginning of the school year. My child never used it, I was told the entire school use the paper. So my question is, where's the funds for educational purposes going. If parent's are purchasing the supplies. Someone needs to do budget oversight and plan new strategies to get parent's involved. Analyzing what needs to be in place to get students engaged in curriculum. Learning has to be interesting or it becomes boring. It takes a village to raise a child and if everyone continues to point fingers change won't take place. I've also had the opportunity to meet some amazing staff members and some not so nice one's. Bad Apple's can definitely ruin the bunch. There's not enough word's I can say, but the attitude and the spirit of the learning environment is key.

So in learning a little bit about my history I came across an old report card from Resurrection School but the address was 4901 Rosalia Dr. I could really use some help here. 1972-1973. Teacher was Ms. D Donnelly, Principal was SR. Audry Ruth M. S. C.. I got A's and B's ........and a C in Conduct.nnLouis F Generes? was Superintendent.

I am in 5th grade this is the school I go to I have been here sense I was in prek 3 my teacher name is mrs. Adkins she is a very good math teacher
