I was trying to leave town as I was already three hours behind my very loose schedule. As I was driving by I had to stop because the park was so beautiful and I love riverfront walks. I was not at all disappointed. Wish I had more time to explore more completely.
Props to Shreveport for providing a tranquil and well-maintained walkway along the Red River. Maybe it isn't super-scenic but it's fine for contemplative walks outside the casinos.
Looking like it's not being kept up but still a nice quiet walk
Private , convenient ,satisfactory all the way around and surprisingly safe
Fun outing. Beautiful scenery.
