Good little stop. Tells an important story in military history. I recommend stopping by then going to the Currahee trail after (3 miles up, 3 miles down). But do it on a warm day with no fog. Cool experience overall.

A really interesting slice of American history. They've done a great job of producing a sample of what the camp was like. They're also reassembling a C-47 like the troops there jumped from, to display for tours.

A must stop for any WWII or Band of Brothers fan. Very knowledgeable volunteer staff that really take pride in the museum. Also make sure to hike up Currahee Mountain just like Easy Company did many many years ago while in training.

Been wanting to visit because of Band of Brothers and this is where the 506 trained. It's more nostalgic and memorialized for the greatest generation while the buildings are being renovated and restored. The gift area is small but there are some interesting pics and museum pieces to read to understand the historical context, but not enough to keep to engaged on site for a long time. Looking forward to seeing this place fully restored!
