A group of 13 of us on a Couples Retreat came to visit the winery and it was amazing from arrival to departure! Everyone was so mice and accommodating to our needs & party size. We brought out own food & bought several bottles of the wine. The Sunset wine is DELICIOUSud83dude09 The lady that did the wine tasting was amazing and very informative!! We will definitely be coming back and we highly recommend this winery!!
We stopped by this hidden gem Sunday afternoon and had the most delightful time! Joan served us our wine tasting and gave us so many amazing recommendations to try. Not only did she spend her time explaining each wine to us, she was so enjoyable to converse with!! We bought two bottles (Ole' Blue was my favorite!) and we certainly plan to come back again! *Saturday and Sundays they have live music from 2pm to 5pm
Went on a girls weekend to the lake and drove out of our way to visit this winery. Upon walking in, we were greeted by a sweet older woman who introduced herself as co-owner. She was helping us with a tasting, and another man who worked there told us that we needed to hurry up. We were off put, but tried to hurry and purchased a couple bottles. We found a table and enjoyed the wine while listening to the live music and catching up. When we went to purchase another bottle, the man who spoke to us earlier said we were being too loud and asked us to go outside. The winery was packed, people were drinking wine coolers that they had brought in personal coolers (not even supporting the winery) and were very noisy. Another party ordered domino’s pizza. It was safe to say, we were not doing anything to be disruptive. We moved outside and finished our wine, despite being embarrassed and offended. On our next girls weekend we will not be visiting this winery due to the fact that they handled this issue so poorly. Good wine, but very unfriendly service. Would not recommend!
Passing through the little town. We happened on this vineyard. I do not drink wine but the owner asked if I liked peaches, of course I do. She offered me a peach wine that was delicious. And for me to have found a wine I love was a wonderful thing. Living in Florida, she said they shipped out of state. But, unfortunately when I tried to place the order, the website stated only shipping in state. Definitely a friendly place to visit, local family farm with different tasting wines, Georgia history included. A place you should not miss. Hopefully, they will resume their shipping out of state again. Would love to purchase Sunrise and Sunset!
Stopped by on our way through town on a Tuesday afternoon and a what a pleasant experience! My husband and I tasted all of their wines. They were all wonderful. We ended up buying 4 bottles and will definitely be back when we are in the area. We cannot recommend enough!!
