This is an absolutely beautiful campground. The lower rating comes from the fact that the dump station is on top of a hill and many sites are very unlevel and difficult to get into. Roads are very narrow in some parts. On the good side - all sites open up to the water and there are paths to get down to the lake. Sites are large and include a picnic table and fire ring. The bathroom is old but well maintained. Water in the sinks and showers is warm. There is a washer and dryer available at the bath house.
The folks running Clark Creek are wonderful down home people! Very friendly! They have upgraded their beach and close to stores
Enjoyed our stay even though we went through a tropical storm while there. Some improvements need to be made, however. We were on site 23 for the second time. There are several trees that need to be removed. They are dead pines that have pine borers in them. We were fearful during the storm that one of them would fall on our camper. Fire pit was not cleaned and was almost overflowing with ashes. The Campground bathrooms/showers were clean. Main concern was the dead trees throughout the Campground. Will be making reservations to stay again.

Best place to come relax and fish great inviorment and every one the host are extremely nice and very welcoming. They always glad to see you. Plus they open all winter
