I went there in 2008, and it sucked. The principal/my teacher seems nice at first, but then you find out what she's really like. We hardly got any breaks at all. It was rediculous. I am so glad I only went there for a couple months and was able to change schools in 2008.

I am very disappointed with Lakewood Christian School. They do not put the safety and well being of their student First even if they have a court order in front of them. I have had numerous meetings with the principal and other staff due to ongoing issues and biast situations. They have a huge gap in communicating properly, they have had teachers side with one parent or the other causing issues at our home and have deliberately engaged in private phone calls before and after meetings to intentionally cause conflicts even after meetings were over. They told me to my face that they do not have the time to follow each students court orders that whichever parent comes to pick the child up they send them home with whoever gets their first. So I have had to file numerous contempt’s of court which is extremely inconvenient and has caused emotional damage to my children. My oldest son is on a scholarship and he hears very inappropriate things being said about his mother, and they are influencing my children to have more sibling rivalry than I already deal with. Which they are very aware of and they still continue to to put a wedge between my two sons and our family.nnThey have allowed family members to pick one of my children but not the other based off of the demand of my ex husband because they had a long history of friendship and past. They follow his orders but not the court orders which is ultimately a felony charge. I hate having to drop my children off at this school. They are being paid over 1000 a month for Just my two children and everyday they are personally involved with my personal life and it is very heartbreaking what this principal is doing.nnYou would think when you first meet her that she is very smart and her biggest goal is the safety and well being of her entire staff and students. She always has a smile on her face and can manipulate you to believe that you as a parent may need to work on yourself instead of putting the parents concerns for their child first!nIn just the last few months this women has put more stress on my children and family then I’m willing to even admit because they are still enrolled in her school. I cannot afford to take off work to find another school for my children pulse I’m in the middle of a court case so I cannot go ripping my children out of her school because than I look like the one distrupting their education. I cannot wait until this is over and I hope people read these reviews before you find out these things on your own.nThere is nothing more heart wrenching than rushing to school to pick up or kids after a long 8-10 hour day to find out they are not their and now you have to go track them down because the school will not follow a court order! This instance I am speaking of- the morning of— I warned the school of this potential incident and they still allowed it- in fact they caused it to happen by making personal phone calls, then would not allow my oldest son to call me as he was in tears and fear when I finally got to him!! I’m completely beside myself and cannot believe that still in a private Christian School I have to worry more than the average public school!! I know every other school in this state would follow a court order or else they would lose their job!
