I'm giving 2 stars completely to the actors they were definitely the shining stars to this experience! We celebrated my birthday there with 3 other couples. When we tried to order drinks there was no olive juice for our dirty martinis which surprised me seeing that the price for this experience is almost $100 a person. The request for extra dirty was met with unpleasant body language. OK fine... none of us are big drinkers and we drove about an hour to do the dinner train but it would've been nice for my dirty martinis to be dirty. The guys all ordered the Prime Rib and loved it but were disappointed in the instant potatoes ... The ladies ordered the chicken but they turned out to be dry and really not good... Again I think for $100 a person that the chicken/food be tasty. Oh and the cheese platter consists of 4 individual wrapped slices cheese 4packets of smashed crackers and a handful of grapes... Again for $100 per person I really expected more. It's a really good idea but not executed well. We won't do it again
My sister treated me to this amazing dinner experience. We had a great time. The mystery and acting was good and funny. Food was excellent especially the prime rib. Service on the other hand was slow. Ariel was great and although under pressure maintained great service. Marcelo lacked customer service. He even rolled his eyes when we asked for something like more water. He said they ran out of clean glass, no extra sugar or creamer. But Overall it was a wonderful birthday experience and I got the mug for figuring out who did it. I definitely recommend it. Pine Island Table 4.
This was such a great experience! The show was super fun and my table even figured out the mystery. The food was really good, especially the prime rib. Overall, I loved this whole experience. I'll definitely be back for another show in the future.
The actual trip was a lot of fun. The show itself was entertaining. However our waitor, Marcello, wasn't the greatest.nThe food was good but when we asked for extra bread, the reply was (with an attitude) he'd have to see how many they had.nAll in all, I would do it again and suggest it to others.
I enjoyed this experience thoroughly.nnThe wait staff was great and very friendly, professional,, and accommodating.nnThe food was excellent. There were some things I was unable to eat on the menu due to my gluten allergy, such as the soup and the desert, but our waitress was able to get me extra salad to make up for the soup. I think they change the soup and desert every so often, so future gluten-free passengers may have better luck.nnThe sights to be seen during the ride start out a little rough, but quickly become a beautiful view of nature. We saw the sun set on the river water and passed through some sucluded woods before reversing course. It was also a fun to ride on a train that is around 100 years old give or take.nnThe show was also entertaining. It was my first time doing a murder mystery dinner and I wasn't sure what to expect. The cast were fun to watch and the information to help you solve the crime was all there if you paid close attention. Just remember, there are no throw away lines.nnThe ticket price was high, but when you consider everything you get with it and break it down, the value is there. While it's not something I would plan to do often, it is something fun to do once in a while especially if you tend to be the kind of person who tries to guess what's going to happen next in the movie, much to your friends' annoyance.nnI would do this again
