The call system doesn’t work

I have had a decent experience as a parent with a child in this school. The staff seems unorganized at times but they are good people and the school offers many opportunities to students. Location is a concern, I've gotten numerous safety calls telling me the school is on lockdown because of police activity in the area and that brought concern, though there were no problems in the school itself and they are proactive about securing and notifying. Overall my child enjoyed his time there. The teaching staff is young and eager and very interactive.

The dress code is horrible, Not only does this affect students but OTHER schools are allowed to wear jackets WITHOUT any zippers! This seems pretty unfair and students are only allowed to wear jackets with only one solid color? It’s hard to find jackets like that! My student who goes to Fort Myers Middle Academy only has jackets with letters on them and some of my student jackets have multiple Colors. The jean problem also no jeans? Other schools in Fort Myers are allowed to wear jeans the dress code policy is getting out of control! I honestly don’t get what’s the harm of a logo on a jacket! What’s the harm of pants and jackets? Hope next year my student doesn’t have to put up with this issue.
