My first time diving with an instructor from PDI and two friends! The landscaping was being taken care of at the time and was absolutely beautiful with a simple and cute new fence. The water is fresh and clean and clear, generous staff, snacks, and I was so comfortable and safe under the water. There is a cute little devil under the water people tap for good luck and they like to hide it for other people to find for fun. There are also cool fish and FOSSILS! It was so cool. Someone found a full spear head! Great energy and vibrations here, highly recommend! Go on a weekday because the weekends are PACKED! Enjoy and make memories ❤
It's open till 5 pm. You should make reservations before coming here which is good since there would be limited number of people in the spring at one time, not too crowded. Would definitely recommend scuba diving since there are a lot of caves underneath but I went there with friends at 3-4:30 pm slot with snorkeling and not scuba diving and it was a little dark underwater, we couldn't see a lot - fishes, turtles and coral but it looked surreal... Definitely worth going - rightfully the top 3 tourist spots in Florida...nnIt would have been 5/5 if there were some lights underwater...
MAKE A RESERVATION! When we got there reservations were a week out so we couldn't go inside. For $5 a person you can walk around the property but you won't see the cave or the springs. We were told by the receptionist that if you would like to just go on a nature walk that the Cedar Lakes Woods and Gardens across the street would be a better option.
What an amazing spot to spend a few hours or a night like we did. We visited the den around noon and set a tent for the night. Great prices and an incredible experience! I'm bringing all my out of town family in June.
Awesome place! I recommend the earliest time so the scuba divers aren't crowding you. Also get a wet suit because it is cold in the water, if not be prepared to freeze. Great place!
