We went today for Spring Break and I have to say that had it not been for the Cabana that we rented I don't think that we would have have stayed as along as we had. We arrived at 930am and waited in line to get it in the park. We walked in and got to our Cabana and Gabriel was great!! He offered to get us drinks when the lines got really long which was amazing. As soon as w go there we took advantage and did about 3 slides before the lines started to get too long. Then around 1:30pm I'm not sure what happened but the park was exploding at the seams with people and not enough staff. They told us that due to low staffing they weren't able to offer the Quick Queue which was fine because the lines weren't terrible until after 1:30pm.Then they only had 2 places to eat open and one snack place. The line for the Surfside Cafe was wrapping around the to the front entrance. It was at this point that we realized there is no way that we are going to stay in line and wait for the food and the rides/slides. So we went to Guest Services and again waited in line for about 30 minutes to get our money on our Quick Pay band back since we paid with cash. This started as a great day but the fact that they continued to allow people in the park knowing that they were understaffed and they didn't have as many food/drinks places open is a HUGE disservice to the poor employees that are working and on the receiving end of the attitudes of the people waiting in those long lines. Apparently the same thing happened yesterday and some how they didn't think to adequately prepare again today. I don't know but this was disappointing honestly.

I love Adventure Island. Unfortunately, this trip was not the best one. I know it is early in the season but we missed the entire last summer so I wanted to fully enjoy this year. The water was very cold. But again I know it is early in the season. Many of the slides were not open and many of the food places were closed. The park was busy so the lines were very long. It took us almost two hours to ride Solar Vortex. It is a cool ride but not worth two hours wait.

Love that Adventure Island opened up just in time for Spring Break. We weren’t sure how busy it would be and sprung for a cabana right beside Splash Attack.nBEST. DECISION. EVER.nWe were assigned our own personal concierge — Omar — who literally checked on us every 30 mins. He was so kind and went above and beyond to make our day extra special and relaxing. We felt like royalty. Will definitely be paying for the cabanas more often! It was stocked with water, plenty of seating, a nice fan to keep us cool in the shade and a front row view to splash attack so we could watch the kids play. 10/10 recommend! Thanks for everything Omar!

I've been going to adventure island for years!!! Yesterday was one of the worst experiences we have ever had. If we hadn't rented our cabanas we would of definitely went and got a refund at all costs on every ticket! For one you cant bring food. Which is fine I completely understand why. But if you are going to allow this many people in the park and not have enough food for everyone or enough staff to open up all food places then maybe you should lower your guest count ! We waited in line for 45 minutes at a snack shop to get told there was no chicken, turkey legs or anything. We had 3 kids with us and now they can't eat because there is no food. So we go to wait in the line up front. There are hundreds of people who have been waiting for ever but they still decided to send an employee out and let everyone know that if you don't have a mask you won't be served. So your telling me that all these people who just waited 45 minutes now have to leave the line because they didn't have a mask on ? Maybe you should train your employees on being more specific when you walk in. They told us once we enter the park you do not need a mask! Any employee who worked yesterday deserves some kind of bonus for dealing with the fact that this place was not managed properly nor staffed properly. When entering the park the employee who was scanning in tickets, broke down crying to her manager, because she had been cursed out multiple times due to the whole reservation or deal you guys had going on!

Great place for family fun. The lines to enter the park are reasonable. However if younhave/want purchased any upgrades such as a quick queue pass, all day dining, or rented a cabana you have to get wrist bands inside the park. Apply sunscreen grab some water before you wait your turn. The line's are horrendously long. SAVE ALL RECEIPTS!! Guest services aren't super helpful however if you have your receipt you have a leg up. Besides the lines and guest services the park is awesome.
