Gold Coast Scuba

This shop provides proper (FULL) air tank fills. Steve had always filled my Steel High Pressure tanks right away. I've stopped by the shop a couple of times and will continue to go there. I had recently lost my dive flag; I left it behind by the bench at the beach. Steve had rented one out to me at no charge. Thank You Gold Coast Scuba.

Awesome dive shop. Glad I found it. Wish I realized sooner how awesome the shore dives are at Lauderdale by the Sea! You see less variety of fish than the Blue Heron bridge shore dive (it's a protected/no take area), but with 3 reefs accessible from shore, I love the variety of the area. I only made it to first reef and I saw nurse sharks, hog fish and puffers. Will be back! Parking by beach is $2.25 per hour, 3 hour max (can extend). Pay by phone or meters take quarters. Datura ave lot fills up fast. Hibiscus street is an additional parking and scuba entrance location. Check surf report before going.nnMembers of meetup group get 10% off and free dive flag rentals. Steve and all the staff are amazing. I don’t show my face much as I live in Germany. When I do show up I am treated like if I show my face everyday. When I discovered GCS few years back when I started diving I made them my #1 dive shop for all diving needs. Check out their meetup group. It’s really organized by down to earth divers. Can’t wait to go diving again. I will be back in the end of the month and will definitely be stopping in.

Cam and Steve made us feel comfortable and safe. They are knowledgeable about snorkeling and think of all of the things such as weather and water conditions for our best experience. Any other place just gave us the gear and sent us on our way regardless of conditions just so they could still make a buck. Not Gold Coast. They care about their customers and the experience. Steve gives great advice for out of towners. He has great prices and very good equipment that we have seen. We always get our tank rentals from him.
