Excelsior Charter School

Some of the teachers really kill the students self esteem. While others are wonderful. it is just the luck of the draw. Favoritisms is very present at this school. My child went there for 3 years and only had one teacher that encouraged growth and didn’t openly insult my child and myself. More emphasis is placed on the music money making program than ensuring each child flourishes. The principal is also to blame for this. the teacher turn over rate is insane. My child is now in a new school and after 3 months with a caring and talented teacher my child is an honor roll student. I would never recommend this school— never. if i could give this school 0 stars i would.

My son is in kindergarten at this school, and he always gets the projects or paperwork a day before it’s due., my son got someone else report card and no one noticed,The teacher says you can message her for what ever issues and every time I message her I never get a response. The teacher does not communicate with you at all. If we weren’t moving I wouldn’t let him keep going to the school. Would not recommend this school

Excellent school staff is very friendly ,and professional. My daughter has been in this school for 5 years and never had any problems. Great safe place!
