Great place to hike along the river. Very easy access.
Nice easy trail to get into water nature on.
Great trail! There was lots of shade and beautiful views. I had no problem navigating a double stroller and there were explorer trails branching off from the 1.3 mile designated path. Lots of break off points for fishing as well. We will be back soon.
It's a beautiful place to visit and take a nature hike. To see the Water dam. Plus the wonderful Appomattox River. You can fish on the banks.I think you will enjoy your visit there.
Very quiet. River is very close to main trail. The main trail is very nice. The explorer trail is very rooty and muddy, not easy. Highly recommend for a peaceful hike.
