I am sure it is beautiful, but I was not able to walk here. I go for daily hikes and rarely use bug spray so I forgot to bring it today. We were swarmed as soon as we got out of the car. We made it less than ten feet past the trailhead before I turned around and went back to the car. I don't even think bug spray would have helped. The entrance is also not marked that well. I drove past and then had to go a little further to turn around. Sad, because I'd love having another place to walk.
Looks like a nice area, just make sure you and your dogs wear orange if you're going out in the winter!
