We just moved to the area and last night was our first night here. We attempted to go to a place called Lew's Restaurant only because it was close by and had so many good reviews but when we got there, we definitely we're not happy with the service at all and we ended up leaving to find someplace else. That's when we found Crescent City Bourbon and BBQ. We absolutely loved it!! The service was great, the food was the best I've ever had anywhere!! The atmosphere was very calm and relaxing. We loved it and glad we chose it as our first dining experience here. Will definitely be returning again!!

Fantastic local place. The whiskey selection was outstanding, both bourbons and rye, the prices were reasonable, and the food was amazing. The pulled pork was tender and had a great flavor even without the sauce, and the sauce was the best Virginia barbecue sauce I've had in years. The collards deserve an award by themselves. They were seasoned perfectly and not overcooked, and just enough vinegar without being overpowering.nnThe service was fantastic as well. Even though we were there shortly before closing time and were the last people in the restaurant, there was no pressure to finish and the staff was polite and solicitous throughout. Could not recommend more highly.

Best BBQ in town. This was wonderful and authentic. They clearly care about quality and taste. I thought it was interesting that they had four different types of tacos on their appetizer list from which you could pick three for the “Taco Trio.” It definitely did not disappoint! My wife had their pork bbq sandwich with mac. She loved how they buttered and seared the bun. We were both pleasantly surprised by the different types of slaw between our two lunch dishes. We will be returning as we are locals who come downtown a lot looking for good eats.

Great down to earth place... my waitress Brooke W was amazing! Very friendly, down to earth and fun!! Food was pretty good as well!

Hearty Brisket Chili and and White Chicken Chili with grilled cheese sandwiches! Very VERY good! First time here and it great! Came back the next morning for their new brunch menu! The French toast was excellent with the rum sauce!
