The young lady working the desk was very helpful and nice. Got all my questions answered and some i didnt think about.
If i could give it lover then 1 atar i would.
The pros: The good thing about this gym is that it is free and never crowded. The cons: The equipment is old and needs replacing. Also, they do not clean their equipment. Worst of all the White haired lady at the front desk is extremely rude. I have been going there for five years and never had a pleasant experience with her nor have I ever seen her crack a smile. She also seems very testy and angry all the time. I usually try to avoid her for this reason. Stay there close to closing time and you will see.
was told that they were not taking new members!! I thought the Radford rec center was for the residents. Taxes that are paid go to fund places like this. I wonder what the local news will think about this policy.
I can certainly attest to the other reviews about how nice the facilities are but how rude the staff at the front desk are. The times that I have been there is a lady at the front desk with curly hair. When you approach the desk she just stares at you with a hateful look on her face. She doesn't greet you or say hello or anything. When you ask her for something or try to greet her she seems really bothered and acts really hateful. It's difficult for me to understand how people in this world can be that hateful, especially public employees. My advice to other people: find somewhere else to go where friendliness and common decency is reciprocated.
