The tunnel was really neat. You emerge from it and then it opens up to an overlook offering scenic mountain views. Stop by for pictures.
The tunnel had icicles at the start which made it look amazing !
First overlook if you enter from the Thornton gap entrance and go south. The overlook as suggested by name gives a awesome view of the tunnel and in falls the leaves surrounding the tunnel make for a great view. So this overlook offers great views to the valley and a the mountains on the valley. It's a must stop on the skyline drive.
Nice overlook! The tunnel was fun to watch. Good place to stretch your legs because stop had a long walking area.
Great view and very quiet. Lots of folks in park during the fall leaf peeping. Beautiful fall colours.
