Tatiana completed multiple alterations and revising clothing items for my wife. No matter how silly it may have seemed to others she wove her magic and saved some favorite heavyweight work clothing that could not be easily replaced saving us a good bit of money and time. I took several skirts in for alterations. I was not sure if some of them could be done- some were silk fabric, some needed a lot of size change, and some were not straightforward patterns- but she got all of them done beautifully, and in a short period of time. I have since taken some other things for alterations. She's very careful and precise in making sure the clothes will fit correctly. My mother wanted a dress made, based on a very old dress she had, and could not find anyone willing to try. I found a pattern that was similar, but not identical, and we took the old dress and pattern to Tatiana. She took measurements, and listened to what my mother wanted. She then had us come back to do a fitting before sewing everything, because she wanted to be sure my mother would be pleased- more discussion, a few changes, and my mother got the dress she wanted. Skill, willingness to work with the clients, and attention to detail are real standouts for me. Not just draperies!
