I am the 9th great grandson of Joseph Royal. I am very pleased to know that the plantation is being cared for so well. I was so pleased to be given a tour of the house. To be able to visit the cemetery on the property and see family gravesites was extremely moving. I am a descendant of Captain Joseph Royall and Katherine Banks. They are my 6th great grandparents. I would love to see if the farm is open the public upon occasion.
