Good ordering experience. The service was friendly, and thorough, even with a trainee shadowing the cashier. They bring takeout food to the car so you don't have to wait in the ordering area. They accommodated my shellfish allergy, which not all seafood places will do.nnMy burger was surprisingly good. Well seasoned and cooked as ordered with fresh veg. and a bun that didn't fall apart. Only complaint was that the fish and chips we ordered got soggy during the 5 minute drive home. Like the other reviewer said, they need better containers for fried food instead of Styrofoam. Would have knocked a star off, but the service made up for it.

Our takeout is always ready very quickly, they say 15minutes and its ready when we get there. The food is always really good and cooked the way I requested. The portion sizes are ample and in line with the pricing, which is reasonable, for quality seafood. Everything I should get (tartar, cocktail sauce etc) is always in the bag when I get home, without a reminder.nnThe *only* issue I have is that they don't have different takeout containers, for fried seafood especially. Styrofoam just makes fried seafood sweat. I like mine well done and it's a race to get home. They make containers that many seafood/fries places use now that are much better, absorbent and don't cause the sweating, I wish the Clam Box used them too.

Most of the food is pretty good but the fact that they sell Hormel chili as their chili is kind of annoying. Huge markup on that for sure. Also, the last time we got clam cakes from there (which used to be so good) the batter on them was so salty they were almost inedible.

Food was excellent! 1st time visiting this place and will definitely be going back. Had the Clam Fix! Clam chowda, clam strips, and clam fritters! Perfect amount! Strips were tender and not at all chewy. VERY Yummy!
