Garrison Oak Steakhouse

Sad experience here. Was unaware until we sat down that the menu online was not the current menu. Online menu showed choice for side salads, charcuterie board, dry aged steaks, but none of these were available. There was two other tables being served when we were there. That's it. Waitress was not an issue as she did well and could only work as fast as the kitchen. I decided on the Pork Chops, when I was ordering, was told they were out. So decided on the Lamb Chops. My husband had a steak with loaded steak fries. THESE STEAK FRIES WERE FROZEN FRIES THAT WERE BARELY COOKED PAST FROZEN. I was in shock at how they were selling these entrees at this price and serving us a meal that wasn't even as good as Cheddars, Chili's, and other place you could grab a steak. Lastly, we had crab cakes for an appetizer, I think I ate more shell than anything. Will not return.

The wait for our drink and appetizer order was at least 20 minutes. The waitress did not disclose that the pizza oven was broke which took half the menu away, and did not advise that there wasn't any prosciutto for the charcuterie board, when we asked why we didn't receive any they said that received a bad shipment and replaced it with FOUR BLUEBERRIES AND TWO RASPBERRIES ud83dude44 After we addressed how that was not appropriate without a price deduction we received more bacon and salami. The waitress also did not ask how I wanted my steak, I had to prompt her. The food was really good, not worth the price good. My baked potato was not soft enough to push down and my friends wedge salad looked very bare on a huge plate...so I don't know if it was the salad that looked bare or they used the wrong plate.nnWe WILL NOT return.

My wife and I went out for a date night without the kids. We figured Garrison would be a great place for that as it’s a bit expensive for children with chicken nugget taste buds. We were promptly seated and greeted by our waitress. This review has nothing to do with her. She was absolutely wonderful. Lalaholha (sp?) She had great customer service. We ordered an appetizer and drinks and received the appetizer and waited almost 35 minutes to receive our drinks. Mind you we ordered a draft beer and a margarita. Nothing that took any sort of serious bartender skills. We ordered our entrees and the filet was seriously salted to the point of burning our tongues and peppered so heavily I will probably be tasting pepper for the next week. I was super disappointed with the quality of food for a dinner that cost us 3 times as much as it would have a Texas Roadhouse or any other chain steakhouse. Unfortunately my wife and I will not be coming back to The Garrison. It’s unfortunate because we live right around the corner and always look for places to eat closer to home. Our overall time spent here was an hour and a half, way too long for a 15 minute meal. Very disappointed.

I was so disappointed with the service and waitress both was terrible we had to wait a.jout to be seated and was not busy it took 15 minutes and asking twice where our drinks was to get crown and coke order soup husband was ok but mine wasn't right one at frist then my onion soup came at and I have had much better when the meal came about 45 minutes later mine was wrong steak and to be told it would take 40 minutes to get the right one for it to come out again wrong I decided I would just eat it but it was so tough u could not husband was so f full of fat and the vrgs was not cooked no bread no steak sauce no salt or pepper to high price for this never go back there please

The menu has all my favorite foods , the -tri-colored cauliflower is delicious & Tomahawk is very tender, juicy & succulent,made a regular out of me for sure ud83dudc4d
