Minute Key

Great service! I copied my house keys.nFast! Having a few different designs to choose from is a great idea! It makes it easier to find the right key on a ring when you need it and it's so much fun!nI just wished the bonus designs were more interesting and a girl friendly or gender neutral. I would go for it but the machine suggested only superheroes...;)

What a genius concept.nI made an extra key to the gate.nDidn’t have the original to copy, because I left it in the car.nBut...nBecause I had made a copy of that key already. It was stored in their database.nThey validated me as the rightful owner, and presto magico, out comes a perfect copy of the key.

This is a kiosk in Lowe's. It was comparatively expensive, $4--$6 per key, but AWESOME!!! You no longer have to wait for the key guy to get paged and winnow his way to you at the key machine only to find out that they're out of the key you need.nnIt wasn't cheap, but so convenient! And I love that they can store my key info so if I lock myself out I can run over to Lowe's and make myself another key instead of having to hire a locksmith.

This was the first time I used the kiosk for a digital key. I needed to send a key from the Seattle area to Maui. The process was cumbersome. The instructions were vague. Both parties have to install their app. I had to install, then uninstall, then reinstall to get my keys to register in my app. The receiving party had trouble getting the kiosk on her end to sync with the app so the actual key would cut. None of the employees at Lowes in Maui knew anything about the process and were of no help. I had to call customer service twice. The customer service reps were very nice and did end up helping us get this done.nI guess, in the end, I did accomplish what I needed, but it took almost an hour to get the keys into the hands of my rep on island.

Of course it takes about a minute per a key, their free key is pretty cheap and the other keys are 5 bucks each which is pretty expensive but overall a good machine that's easy to use
