Safe and efficient means of travel in Alaska. The ferry crew were friendly. Saw some majestic mountain ranges along the way.nWe took a round trip to Haines and back for an excursion from our ship. There was plenty of seating on this stable craft. The ferry ride turned out to be a highlight in itself.

Hopped on a boat doing a whale-watching expedition. We saw 7 whales in a short time! Amazing experience. Very cold on a fast boat. Definitely bundle up. Bring binoculars.
