Go early and there is just a couple regulars (330am), which allows you to workout in comfort, as well as honor spatial distancing.nnThey may want to reconsider using a different product to clean the machines, other than Simple Green.nnOtherwise, it may be your only other option in Kahului other than PF (but they open way later at 5am). Quite a bit more expensive, though.

This gym is really nice. It is clean and very well equipped for a smaller gym. The staff is friendly and is always there to help you with anything you need. I love that it is 24/7 and you can get in with a key card. I prefer to go to the gym in the evenings, and it isn't crowded at all during the times I like to go.

Bad experience bringing my mom here. I came out of the shower to see her arguing with the guy in the office and one young staff member. She does not like to use the spray because she just completed chemo and is skeptical of manufactured chemicals now. The young girl asked her if she had some kind of skin condition and why she was not using the spray. Imagine some kid and gym staff talking down to your parent and arguing with them in the office. No aloha and poor customer service....that's your only job right? We go to other anytime fitness gyms so this was a big surprise as the Pukalani location and my mom's gym are very open and welcoming. When we came to the door to use our key fobs a male staff member asked us if we were members and where we were from. It made us very uncomfortable to have to explain yourself before you go workout, then have the two staff members eye you the whole time to make sure your doing everything right. That says it all, if you don't pay for membership at this gym they are going to make it uncomfortable for you to visit....so basically don't come here. That's how we felt. You don't argue with an old woman who is your customer, especially if your staff has been harassing her during her workout. I discussed this with management and they said they would try and do better next time. We won't be coming back.
