Always a wonderful and spiritual site to visit. Great place for tourists to learn about our Hawaiian history and culture. Very picturesque and always a nice breeze. Unfortunately, due to unstable rocks you can no longer swim in the pools. Although, you can still use the hales and ancient sites to perform Hawaiian cultural practices.

This place was cool. I was only able to see 3 of the pools as the path going any higher was closed. Still an amazing place. Mahalo!

Worth a look, kind of a short visit! Couldn’t swim because of high waters. Make sure to bring your National Park pass or ticket because its part of Haleakalā National Park! Very beautiful though.

A must to visit if you decide to drive the road to Hana. Do not miss out.

You used to be able to go down to the pools, but its been blocked off and no swimming allowed.
