Cool Cat Cafe - Maui

In a fun, central location Cool Cat Cafe was also a delight for the good food. The service was average and I had to ask to have my drink filled. I think the server may have had too many table to take care of. The place was clean and the food was above average. My wife really liked her Don Ho burger and my daughters both really liked the California Dreamin’ sandwich and my fish loving daughter enjoyed her catch of the day. (Not sure what the fish was, but she liked it quite well.). I had the blue suede shoes burger. It was cooked just right, not overcooked, the blue cheese was plentiful, but not overdone and the bread, a brioche bun, was also tender and slightly chewy in texture, just right.nnOverall, it was a very positive experience and we’d go back, if or when the occasion presents itself.

If you haven't already, do yourself a favor and go here. Best food anywhere in Hawaii. Awesome service, Very friendly people and great live music. I got the Bonanza Burger. We loved cool cats! We came here twice during our vacation to Maui and the kids enjoyed it as well. The live music we got to see was great as well! Service and fast & caring. Definitely a fav spot!

Went this place with our children. It was a great experience. We visited during the “Happy Hour” and they wouldn’t have anything for kids, but they did. They especially loved the $6 milkshakes. It was a value, tasty, family friendly.

Cool Cat is one of my go to places when visiting Maui. Most of the time, the food is delicious, the service is great, and the environment is pleasant. Sometime's the server you get is hit or miss; most are very nice, but like anyplace, I've experienced my share of issues -- but nothing that would have me take a star away. Things like messed up orders, missing condiments, empty drinks happen everywhere -- but it's the attitude of how a problem is corrected that matters. All in all, I hope Cool Cat is around 50 years from now. Great place for any and all ages. Lots of locals frequent the place so you know it's good. It's the perfect mix between touristy / local. The chicken sandwiches are lit.
