Café Des Amis

Very cute place. We just dropped in for a quick drink and appetizers but will definitely return for a full meal. The plates we saw go by looked fresh and generous portions.

Not bad, I had the shrimp/prawn curry, which was perhaps slightly above mall food-court curry, but priced for tourists, of course. The kitchen needs a couple more people, they’re understaffed for the demands made of them. Long wait time for food, long wait time for the people waiting outside. And I’m not so sure having “shared tables” is proper covid-etiquette.

Cute lil casual place. Friendly staff. We had a crepe and the chicken curry. Unusual presentation for a crepe (I should've taken a picture), but both were delicious. Main seating area is a covered open air area next to take out storefront on the right. Decorated like a grass shack, gravel.

The servers have always a smile on them, the food is delicious, maybe a little bit timey, but hey, this is not the mainland. Highly recommend.

While I enjoyed my experience for the most part, and I savored a delicious crepe with my fiancé, the experience was completely soured by the manager, Kim or “Kimmy”. The entire interaction made my partner and I nauseous! First of all, Kim was not welcoming and spoke to me in a condescending, sardonic toneud83dude41. I couldn’t help but notice how rudely she spoke to her employees and everyone seemed to be scared of her. I even overheard her use extremely forceful language with a particular staff member who appeared to be distraught.
