Just want to let everyone know that the phone # assigned to this site is incorrect. It is not the Department of Fish and Wildlife Boat Launch. It's a personal cell #. As far as I know this site is open. Great to be out on the water and see the sites.

I have lived in the Lacey area for the past 20 years. Going to the boat launch at Nisqually I have found is very relaxing. Not only do you get to see people putting their boats in the water and taking them out which is interesting in itself, but you also get to see a very small slice of the wildlife that not only lives in the water but flies in the sky. At any given time you can see upwards of twenty seals chasing the salmon as the tide goes out. You can also see Eagles feasting on their catch on the tide Flats when the water is at low tide. Be sure to bring a pair of binoculars. It really is a wonderful relaxing spot.
