Fay is very informative and knows her local history. The foundation was laid in 1918. It's about ready to close for the season. But cabins are available online. The antique glass is wavy in the windows. We will definitely be back again. ❤ufe0f

If you have to have a TV, phone, radio, or air conditioning to survive, this place won't be for you. If you just want to just relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery, then you'll love it. This old lodge is great. The rooms are cute and well furnished. Set out on the deck,have a drink and enjoy.

Only tried the restaurant. It was just okay for the premium prices. Menu was relatively small with food that was sorta lackluster. Service was nice but generally just okay. Family friendly patio with beautiful views and a great lawn. Perhaps COVID caused some challenges for this place. Overall just okay that is not consistent with the prices. I'll go back if I visit in the future.

Loved our 2 night stay on the third floor! Such a unique place to stay, the staff is very friendly and very clean! The way our room was decorated, we felt like we were in a John Wayne movie! Thank you!

While this hotel is in a nice location and has historical interest, I was very disappointed by the accomodations. The rooms are very dated in decor and furnishings, with no thought given to style and design. Not only that, the carpets throughout the hotel are dirty, there was a strong unappealing odour in our room (perhaps due to extra cleaning efforts for Covid) that will affect anyone with a keen sense of smell. There is very little provided in the room (such as tea, coffee or a kettle) other than shampoo, conditioner and towels. For $175 I would have expected more from this hotel, (this price will get you a nice room in Portland for example) so relative to the price tag I was very disappointed.
