Winter Review:nnThe park is a wonderful place to visit in the winter if you would like a peaceful retreat. The park is virtually empty, and if you can land a Yurt during this time you will be rewarded with. Spectacular views, snow, quiet, reflection and adventure if willing.nnThe park rangers take good care of the park even in the winter, and it's refreshing to see the community around the lake use the park each morning. The winter offers a remoteness mixed with a coziness that is hard to match.

Kept checking during the (Vid) finally scored a cancellation. The park was very nice. The bathrooms are nicely laid out and plenty spacious. They are like new, very clean. Each shower is its own room. Plenty of hot water and no extra charges. Everyone was very respectful and all social norms were practiced. We brought our own kayaks but could have easily rented a few different types of boats there. The pictures posted in this review are from on the lake looking back and up Howard MTN. The park is everything on the shore and behind panning left to right. You have to take the tram up to the top of the MTN. and have lunch. Awesome! ud83eudd17

Come! You'll love it. ud83dudc9aThe park is great. Lots of trees and pull through spots. The scenery is breathtaking! We came in October and it snowed. Beautiful! Coming back next summer if not sooner!
Rent For Fun RV (10/13/2020)
Beautiful RV park within reach of many activities on the lake, trails, restaurants and attractions. We had cell service in the park and full hookups for our 43' class A. Firepits and picnic tables, grassy campsites and paved parking keep it clean and fun. Highly recommended!

Very beautiful, not off the grid but still remote.
