Under new ownership but don't let that stop you. Friendly atmosphere, cheerful service, excellent food. We started with the calamari and what a treat. Lightly breaded, fresh and sweetly briney. Big portions of other delicious seafood. And the Angus steak well above average.

We are so happy that the Big Wave reopened. We were sad when the COVID pandemic caused the long closure. We were so excited to hear that the restaurant was reopening with the same seafood influenced menu. We had our first meal at the Big Wave since the reopening on March 27, 2021, a take away dinner, and it was delicious. My favorite is the grilled halibut with cilantro lime butter, and my dinner pal enjoyed the halibut and chips. Great service, fresh seafood, just what we wanted. Thank you new owners of the Big Wave for carrying on the tradition.

Amazing! So incredibly good! We told the server we were in a hurry and she brought our food right away. Some of the best seafood I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!!

Visited Big Wave Cafe in Manzanita this evening. I had Halibut Fish & Chips and my wife had The Captains Platter, both were gorgeous, lovely fresh sea food.nStaff were friendly and attentive.nWe wIll definitely be back.

Amazing service, food and fast. We had sandwiches but would love to go back for prime rib ans Seafood
