Awesome if all you want is scenery. No facilities.nnHigh winds were creating salt clouds and dirt devils of salt on the other side!nnOn the East side of the highway, lava cliffs are 1000 ft high!

Nothing worth seeing. Very plain and ugly.

Abert Lake is the only salt lake in Oregon, complete with brine shrimp. It's rapidly disappearing though, and climate change doesn't explain it all. Gorgeous lake.

This was a very beautiful and relaxing location after driving for many hours the kids and I stopped and checked out the view and just relax for a little while this was the absolute perfect place to do

Nice place to stop and enjoy the view.nThere is also a dirt road to the water, even though the water has retreated quite a long ways from the high water shoreline.nThe dirt road goes to where the now dry Juniper Creek enters Lake Albert.
