Scenario - on a road trip and our motel was only serving coffee for breakfast. (Pandemic protocol.,)nnSolution - go to Denny's for breakfast, where you can predict the quality and choices available.nnI was hungry for simplicity and also wanted pancakes, since it's something I don't make at home. The scrambled eggs and bacon with hash browns were hot and perfect. The pancakes were very light & fluffy, much better than those I'd tried elsewhere! (They were all the more tasty because it had been at least a year since I'd had any!)nnForecast - I will definitely return for a repeat!nnPS :. The staff were all friendly and attentive, and the tables were socially distanced too.
Lipstick on my water glass... I don't think they wash the water glasses... during a pandemic. They did give me a new glass of water but not sure if it had been washed either.
First off I want to say that the only waitress working tonight is running around trying her best and should be commended for the job she is doing.nThat being said, the manager working tonight has spent the last hour and a half that we have been waiting for our food, behind the register doing nothing. She should be fired! You lose a lot of business that way.
Growing up I always loved going to Denny's. Still being able to get some amazing food from there is always the best. I will always enjoy getting food from them.
We had a large family group. In town for a funeral. They accommodated us happily and everything was wonderful from the service to the food!!!
