Travel weary and exhausted, we were seated and ordered a meal for 4 at just 5 minutes to close. We weren't rushed, our server was super polite and made the whole visit amazing. Great menu options and prices.

It is conveniently located right off the interstate 84 if I had my druthers next time I would pick an alternative. I was seated right away and it kind of went downhill from there. It appeared that the tables were only half occupied for Covid distancing. I did get my coffee in a timely fashion but then it took to waitress a while to get my order. My first choice was a cowboy crabs. After 10 minutes waitress came out and for me that they brought cramps. Not sure how that happens. When I did receive my order the potatoes were at best have cooked, the omelette was cold, and then the sausage came piece of meal probably about five minutes after the main course. Waitresses appear to be doing their best but I believe they’re hindered by the cook staff.

And only a 2 because the staff was nice. I got someone else's order...scrambled instead of over medium; huge, barely cooked potatoes instead of hash browns; white bread instead of sourdough, barely toasted. All food luke warm. They should be able to do better. On the road, didn't have time for a do-over. Busy? Considering at half capacity, not really. I saw no evidence of management, probably part of the problem. Disappointing for a Country Kitchen.

This used to be one of my wife and my favorite places to eat. The last time we went it took over an hour to get our food. The waitress was great, and kept having to yell at the cook to make our order. By the time we got our food most of it was tough to eat. Not worth the wait. Save your money and go to Denny's, or anywhere else.
