Staff opted us into overdraft protection services without our permission. Previously employed as a banker; I'm aware that the overdraft opt in service is credited as a referral which allows the banker to become closer to bonus. How profitable for bank and banker alike, when an unexpected overdraft is allowed through the account, which would have been stopped by the federally mandated default of opting out of overdrafts. This is bank lead fraud and I will be notifying the proper authorities.
