Absolutely a fabulous museum! Two former homes stuffed with wonderful historical things to see. And the docent was very knowledgeable and interesting. I've found the small town museums are the best!

What a bummer. Lakeview goes to trouble of getting an article written about the great thing to do here in the winter and spring and all of the museums are closed until summer! Stupid!

This museum is the best kept secret in town! There are so many curious artifacts including ones found in an ancient cave over 6000 years old. The adjacent Schminck museum served as a residence for a couple who has lived in the community since the end of the 19th century and has so many items to see, I could spend there the entire day and still not see them all. It's a must visit place when you are in Lakeview!!!
