Horrible customer service. Outrageous check cashing fees, even for checks drawn off of their bank. Walmart charges less. Not competitive with other banks and their services. I absolutely DO NOT recommend this bank at all.
Response to KeyBank Below: Please reference that industry standard for cashing checks drawn off of banks & credit unions for non-customers. With Zions Bank, Wells Fargo, J.P. Morgan Chase, & credit unions that I've been a non-customer at, I've been able to cash checks drawn off of those financial institutions without paying a fee. The fact that Walmart has lower check cashing fees for non-customers simply makes this bank non-competitive.
Miserable bank. If their object was to get rid of customers they are doing a wonderful job. I had a CD but I would periodically get notices that I would be charged if I didn't do something with my checking account. When my CD matured I withdrew all my money. A few months later I received letter that I was sent to collection for maintenance fees on a zero balance.
They said they didn't have ability to wave the fees, ... but they would take my money if I came in.
I don't need to come here often. When I do, I normally don't have to wait long. The staff are kind and friendly. My only complaint is that I wish the online portal was more user-friendly.
Very obnoxious teller teller at the bank
