I have been going here from 6-8th grade and I have had some fun 6th was pretty nice and fun mrs supalla and mrs dancil are both very good teachers but when I went to 7th it just got worse I couldn’t retain much information mainly in math the other classes were fun and for the most part peaceful, I haven’t learned much in math these last 2 years, all that I have learned was from my friends and then over covid I lost a lot of them and now math is the only class I am failing, another thing is that the teacher for 7-8th grade math just gives websites and expect us to learn on our own I personally don’t learn this way and I find it problematic, this school for the most part is fun and I did make some friends here who did help while we were friends and recently I made some good friends who help a lot such as Jalissa and illyana, they are very nice and good people, this is a student report lol

Honestly, a lot of people hate on the place for reasons that don't make sense when applied to this school. I like the school, it's nice and small and as long as you do what your told you can have a good year. Drama is a common thing I hear that is a problem with the place but all school have drama and some people need to get over themselves. people need to look at the school in a different light than a normal middle school or High school.

Great school! I came here 9th and 10th grade and it was amazing. Most teachers here are excellent and all are willing to help students. I left my junior year to pursue other things and realized how great this school is once I left. There are a lot of negative students who view this school in a bad light - but mostly because they don't like being pushed to excel and the heavy homework loads. Although I am not a fan of the homework load either - it is worth all the work to be in this safe and fun environment. Most people here are welcoming and kind; and that's not something you often see at many other schools. The teachers here know their material and are willing to help students exceed expectations. Students are treated like individuals and not like a number in a group. Most students (like myself) realize only after leaving how good they really had it here at Vail Academy and High School. I very much hope to come back senior year. Overall, while there are some things that could change for the better, I have not seen any environment as friendly, welcoming, fun, and inclusive as Vail Academy.
