This was nothing but a desert area with cactus, brush and a rough dirt trail running through it back in the 90's. My friends and I played it in all the time and I walked through it every day on my way home from school. To me, it will forever be known as 'The Quails,' which is what we named it because the first time we ever laid eyes on it we saw a family of Quail. To come back today and see how it was transformed was very special experience. The only downside was a creepy guy who was stalking the park when I was there.
Only if the surrounding neighborhood could be as cute and peaceful as this lil' spot, huh?
It's an okay place to visit.
Great little neighborhood park. Nice little library next to it too. A bit hot in summer sun but nice to visit.
Very well maintained. Great place to see native critters especially birds.
