Ruca's

Wow, so glad we came here. First time I’ve ever left a review for a restaurant, but felt that our experience warranted a review. First time in Garden City, and we were planning to go to one of the other well known burger / shake joints, but they had huge lines. We found Ruca’s with no line (how??) and ordered sandwiches and shakes. Sooo good. Shakes are excellent. Sandwiches were big and so tasty. It’s a more healthy (well, the sandwiches anyway) alternative to the burger/fry places.

Probably one the best spots to grab lunch or a snack. Great outdoor seating with colorful mesh chairs, a sofa area, and has a nice amount of shade under the big canopy. Friendly staff. Highly recommend their Aebleskivers! So delicious and fluffy; also goes well with their cream cheese sauce. Their sandwiches are very hearty; large portions.

This place was so quaint and the food was incredible.nnWe got the raspberry pancake balls and Avocado toast.nnThis is a fun place to eat when on vacation.

Hands down amazing! Service was amazing, ambience was on point - so chill, shaded seating, music added to the chill vacation vibe, clean, but most of all.... so fresh and yum. Got the turkey avocado - chucked full of veggies and meat and the æbleskiver was pretty authentic and fresh. With the raspberry jam it was literally the best thing ever. Will definitely come here next time we’re in town.

Love the staff, food, drinks, snacks, vibe and everything else this amazing place has to offer! Drove 6 hours just to try and have been back several times. Sure worth the drive. Love homemade food because of the care that goes into it. Thank you for an amazing experience!
