The most authentic Hispanic food in the area. It is not fancy and absolutely a local family experience. I met the most charming little girl that explained the different items in my dish. Coconut. Shrimp, cucumber, banana and much more. I would return for certain. Thry serve handmade ice cream and a wide assortment of traditional deserts along with many seafood dishes only available at this location. ud83dude0b

Definitely worth the time and effort to find this place. The seafood is fresh and brought in from Mexico fresh. The chef is from the gulf of California region of Mexico so he understands seafood really well. we tried two different dishes and loved them both. I would highly recommend them and I will be back.

This store was one of the better south american food in general. It is a little pricey but I think that the quality is a good price point match. I feel like we went as a family the kids loved the pollo a la parrilla(grilled chicken). I enjoyed the ceviche(shrimp cocktail) it was definetely as expected the bowl was filled with shrimp and vegetables. This place might have the best or close to the best ceviche in Salt Lake. I will definitely go back just for that. Look forward to trying the chelas(Red Beers) that they have too. I do not like the environment too much, on the weekend there are some really loud performers that were overbearing but the food and service were on point.nnEsta tienda fue una de las mejores comidas sudamericanas en general.

This place is hidden in the back of a very large bazaar of Latino shops. When you get to the back,it's really a food court with two stages for live music, and similar. Mariscos is separated out from the others. The physical separation probably has to exist because of Utah's liquor laws. It's also the only place with table service.
