Great food even with limited (Covid) menu, attentive staff. Facility is showing moderate wear, really needs a refresh (new, not recovered) with furnishings and decor; mens bathroom was deplorable according to the men in our party. Prime rib was quite tasty as usual, salad bar plate made by staff was tasty and generous, fresh items, great variety. Love the CB chain in general and it has maintained its good reputation, this location needs some cosmetic and functional attention.

My husband and I were having trouble finding a restaurant that was open in Ruidoso. We had tried at least 7 places before happening upon this place. Honestly, we were looking for a Mexican restaurant that served good margaritas, but we had given up on that by then. We had to check it to see if it was actually open and to our surprise it was! We were seated promptly and welcomed warmly. Matthew our server assured us that his margarita would do the trick and he was right. He made it quite well as promised. We ordered our food and were served I. A timely fashion, hot rolls, fresh garden salads that we hand-picked and they fixed. Great job! Our entrees came out very timely. The hubby got a chicken fried steak which he gave a 2 thumbs-up. I received a blackened chicken with green Chile’s and melted jalapeño cheese with a zucchini squash grilled side. My meal was outstanding- hot , fresh made and so tasty and satisfying. I highly recommend this place for having a nice supper that fills you up. The steaks were good as was the service. Devon was very attentive and a great waiter.

Was excited to eat at one of our favorite Ruidoso restaurants. The outside is run down and unkempt. Walked in and had to wait several minutes to be acknowledged and seated. Was escorted to our table by a lady carrying a dirty tray of dishes in one hand and our silverware in the other. As we walked to the table the filth that was on the floor throughout the restaurant was unbelievable. The open salad bar was a mess (an employee was in charge of filling salad orders and using his gloved hand with no utensils to do so). We turned around and walked out. Do not recommend.

If I can give it no stars I would. Worst place ever. Called in to make reservations and I was told 1st come 1st serve, so I went and took my whole family with 2 toddlers and a baby. My brother went in and was told there's a 30 mins wait so we're on the waiting list and we waited in the car. After 30 mins we checked in with them and was told we're next. 40 mins past and no call nor text so we went inside and the lady told us another 40mins wait. By this time we're in the parking lot for more than an hour. My brother decided to check what happened since the kids are already impatient but the lady told him she gave our sits away because we didn't respond, but no calls nor text was recieved from them and nobody even said sorry they just straight up said ohh we gave your sits away because we didn't see a respond when we called, we're in the car since you can't stay in the lobby due to pandemic and my brother gave them number to call. I've traveled all over US and eaten in hundreds of restaurants but this place was worst. I never gave bad reviews since I always find good things to say but this place was a disappointment. I will never recommend this place and will tell others about our bad experiences here and will post on several sites about how they treated us badly. At least apologize for the inconveniences you caused us especially we have kids that are hungry and was waiting for more than an hour.
