Sol Food Cafe

A hidden gem. We had a few lattes, breakfast entrees, and dessert; all were incredible and the ingredients were fresh. Their menu is creative, the shop is adorable, and the service was great. The owner came over to check on our meal - a very pleasant man and great vibes all around from this cafe.

Barista was so rude to me I left crying. And the coffee was terrible.nI went there this morning desperate for food and caffeine (after staying up late to meet a deadline, and we're moving so I'm without a fridge at the moment). I was sad to see Taos Cow closed so I hopped into Sol Cafe. The Open sign wasn't on but there were customers sitting down. I asked the barista a question and he ignored me, then asked for a minute and walked off. He came back and took my order but misunderstood what I asked for and when I corrected him he just stared at me. No friendliness, no understanding, just condesending tone. I have no idea what he put in my coffee but it's almost undrinkable.

Great coffee, atmosphere and the taj Mahal chicken salad is Amazing. I like this place and I like this town.

Sol Food Cafe is a great restaurant. Everything is good. From their cold pressed juices to their unique coffee blends. The food is amazing as well. I drive up from town to eat here a couple tile a week because there’s nothing like it in the town of Taos. This little cafe is a treasure in Arroyo Seco. Stop on your way to or from the ski valley. It’s worth it.
