Visited Daughter in Somerville MAnWent to Medford Wegmans. ( We r from Rochester) Went to check out w a cashier.( Don't believe in self check outs, puts people out of work) Cashier ask if we wanted to buy any bags paper or reusable. Said no I brought my own. She went on to say, WE WOULD HAVE TO BAG OURSELVES. When asked why. Cashier said if they don't feel comfortable about bagging groceries in reusable bags, she did not have to.nSo go to person, buy bags or have to bag yourself. REALLY. I clean my bags after every visit. So now Wegmans makes u buy a bag or pack your own? Where is my discount for having to bag my own. At least at Alfie's, they are much cheaper & no surprises. THIS IS SO WRONG

We solely shop here for the amazing selection, prices, and service. Our loyalty was reaffirmed after the asset protection team and management took the time and care to help us find a lost item. We could not be more thankful!

Many, many items out of stock. Cart wipe dispensers empty. Hand sanitizer dispensers not working. Where they think the aisles are wide enough for two-way movement, they aren't when the place is packed. Slowest checkout person ever. If you are a single lady, please visit - lots and lots of single guys taking up a lot of room in all of the aisles. Gets a star for selling alcohol.

Typically fully stocked; however, this visit much of the shelves were barren except for higher priced items. Otherwise, typically can find most items as both premium and bargain options, reasonably priced. Well staffed and did not wait in line. Cashier was a professional and she even helped me load my cart as well.
