I used to buy groceries from here last 18 months. Last 3 months $1500 Or more. Price has been increased a lot than before the lockdown but I never arise question on that. I also bought meat from here every week almost 50 bucks. Recently I got mutton which was very low grade quality. Unable to consume. I called the store but it seems they are not very interested to listen the complaint. Anyway that’s fine it was almost 21 bucks. These happens before also but I always compromise until I can consumed the item. Now I plan to reduce the amount of buying from here. When a customer called and complained about something it is true And the store must need to do its best to satisfy which u can find majority of the grocery store Wholefood stop and shop star market etc. but not here in food land.
Prices are so hiked. Charged me $23 for 250 grams of cardamom.
The store was clean & very well stocked. A large selection of quality products. Their deli, along with their bakery was awesome!!! I have found my new grocery store.
My wife and I were loyal customer of foodland. But a recent event has changed our opinion. We believe that we were being charged wrong for a standard item. Most of the time we do not check the bill because it does not have name of the items on it. But yesterday when we went to store, we only bought three items and amount was absurd. When I check the break up, they charged $22 for $4 item.nnIt is hard for us to go there again. There are limited Indian store options in Cambridge and Somerville area so you might end up going there even after reading this review. I would highly recommend checking the price of each and every item.nnThanks
